Normal mode Programing mode
1. Remove jumper from normal mode and put into pprogram mode, as seen above.
2. Turn radio on while pressing the 16/9 key / button until Standard is displayed on the LCD.
3. Exp 01 is displayed showing the expansion mode
4. Choose the channel position 01 - 30 with the WX key / button.
5. Set the expansion channel number 000 - 281 with the up/down buttons.
6. Choose Simplex or Duplex with the SCAN key / button. LCD should shoe SIM (simplex) DUP (duplex).
7. Set the HI / LOW power with the H/L key / button.
8. Memorize the setting with the CALL/SET key / button. At this time MEM should be displayed with the channel.
9. To program another press the WX and repeat steps 4 - 8.
10. To delete a channel that has been programmed, select the channel and press the CALL/SET button to clear the channel number, then repeat steps 4 through 8.
11. When programming is finished, return the jumper to normal mode.
